Re: CBC hires former Corus executive

These executive stories always get me wondering.  Corus and Williams announce she is retiring.  What does that mean anymore?  It certainly doesn't mean kicking back and touring the world and enjoying the sights.  Seems like it means leaving a publicly traded company as executive vice-president and chief operating officer and joining the mother corp as EVP.

When I saw the news I just thought, "retirement - ya right?"

Re: CBC hires former Corus executive

Corus apparently hasn't fired this guy.  His link is (still) on their new website.

I thought Tom Mahalik was the new business reporter.  "Dow Jones down 126 points - all suits 25% off", TSX up one ninety, that's 190 Baldwin street..."

Rumor has it Stafford is moving back to 09:00.  That's great!  Dedicating a whole hour on where to find the best burger.  What is the definition of insanity?

Re: CBC hires former Corus executive

Is Nathan Smith still "brand manager"?  His contact information is absent - and Chuck Gurney is still listed.
