Think that sounds lame? Wait until you hear this:
CBC Radio ‘sleepover’ Sook-Yin Lee’s next project
To think this is where your taxpayer dollars are going.

Only receiving less than an hour of sleep this morning, I became delirious.
I listen to the first 5 minutes of the Candy Ass Palmater show and learned that her two favourite singers are Berton Cummings and k(raft) d(inner) lang.
She played k.d.'s new song "Honey and Smoke".
After, she commented: listening to this song makes her want to relax in a lounge chair drinking a martini.
Is it appropriate for an aboriginal to mention a desire for alcohol?

Here's a question --- why is it the "Candy Palmater Show"? Even the great Peter Gzowski's show was called "Morningside." All CBC shows, to my knowledge and recollection have a name and whatever it's called it's followed by the host's name. (Sometimes not -- "As It Happens", for example.) You may remember It was a big deal when "Q" was renamed "Q with Jian Gomeshi." But it was not the Jian Gomeshi Show. So why is this woman literally getting the star treatment?
