Scot Turner

I understand that Scot Turner has left K-W/Guelph for a new position in Toronto. Anybody know where he is going and in what capacity? He has certainly done a great job here and is apparently a really good person to work for/with.

And any word on who will replace him here? That shuld be interesting with The Beat now having a direct chr competitor in Virgin 105.3

Re: Scot Turner

Scot Turner is now PD at CFXJ Toronto - 93.5 The Move, previously Flow 93.5. Should be interesting to see what he does there. Flow was an R&B station which morfed into a Rhythmic CHR and now is an R&B oldies station with minimal currents, although it is still part of the Mediabase Canadian CHR panel. Scot's old buddy from Energy 108/ Energy 95.3 days Wayne Williams was at Flow for a long time. 93.5 has a very weak signal and can only be accessed here online. Two others from the former Energy are on air at 93.5 - JJ, aka King (also previously as Axel and  AJ) and Mastermind do morning and afternoon drive respectively-a recent reversal of roles from an earleir reversal of roles. JJ had done mornings there for years until a few months ago when all the female on air staff disappeared.

Re: Scot Turner

Flow 93.5 was dropped from the CHR panel in February of last year.

Re: Scot Turner

According to the daily information provided by Mediabase to All Access, CFXJ is still one of their monitored Canadian Top 40 stations.

It is also listed in the Nielsen BDS Stations Monitored as at June 15, 2016-scroll down to Canada:Top 40
