Hmmmm. Interesting. Good topic for a talk show.
The literati give Woody Allen a pass on that little unpleasantness of his because he is a genius at let's pretend. (See also Roman Polanski.) It's the same mind-set that had feminists look the other way when Bill Clinton DID have sex with that woman, Monica Lewinsky. "Yeah, he's a total douche, but he's OUR total douche."
Personally I thought the CBC waaaaayyyy over-reacted to the Evan Solomon contretemps, especially in light of the other freelance jobs that couldn't pass the smell test. (Oh hello there Rex Murphy!)
Now here's one for ya ... the National Museum of African American History and Culture opened in Washington 2 months ago yesterday. Is there a Bill Cosby exhibit? Should there be?

Bounce TV (23-2 Buffalo) dropped The Cosby Show when Cosby was charged, but it has decided to bring it back in December.

What was the purpose of Matt Llewellyn's reference to Nathan Phillips being Jewish have anything to do with this news story?
Matt said for the lead story of the one o'clock CBC Toronto radio news, that the suspect was the grandson of Nathan Phillip, Toronto's first Jewish mayor. It's even reference in the article.
