Amber Alert

No, this isn't an Amber Marshall Alert warning us about the upcoming season of Heartland (still waiting for one of the cast members to come out of the barn closet).

Regarding Sunday's Amber Alert for Finnigan Danne (R.I.P.), the amber alert pre-empted the CBC Radio One (and Two) newscast at 15:01.  Then I switched on the TV, didn't see the CBC pre-empt the Olympic coverage, but first saw it on CFTO (pre-empting Starsky and Hutch) , then Global, then the Rogers' stations though not in sync, then TVO was last.  Don't know about CHCH.

Why wouldn't they all air at the same time?

Re: Amber Alert

There was another Amber Alert 'Test' at 10:55.

CBC Radio One was 8 seconds ahead of CFRB and 10 seconds ahead of CFMJ 640; I don't know is CFZM 740 carried it, all I heard was a run down of the top ten songs of what ever millennium was their theme.

Interesting note, Stafford said that they (640) weren't on a delay and that 'they' (Amber) were three seconds late.
