This time they're bashing Sinclair for its must carry policy involving local news journalists reading a prepared statement from head office. Like this has never been done before.
Didn't Corus just mandate that its local radio and TV stations participate in their annual April Foods Scam? Did Kelly Cutrara really want to be at a Longo's Saturday afternoon?
Didn't Baton Broadcasting mandate all their local TV stations air God Save The Queen during sign-on and sign-off?
Doesn't the CBC mandate their Toronto newscasters to promote 'Sounds of The Season' food drive in December?
Does Jerry Agar really want to spend an hour talking about mental health every year during Dumb BellMedia's 'Let's Talk' tax deduction?
Can local Dumb BellMedia radio stations opt out of airing Employment Law Sunday Afternoons, or is it a must carry program?

Now there's a puss at a Nebraska Sinclair TV station that is quitting over the mandates.
One of the mandates is to air pro-Trump commentaries.
It's a good thing he didn't work for Baton Broadcasting when their local stations were forced to carry Mike Duffy commentaries; I'd hate to see him wet his pants.

Page Six reported on the tensions. “We had no choice, particularly the lower level staffers,” an anonymous source told the paper. “The letter was being handed around the office and the unspoken threat was that if your name was not on it, there would be some repercussion down the road.”
