I'd gather most of the stress of the job, of late...would be worrying about your future employment. I often wonder why people even bother to stay in the business given the market conditions. There are few other industries where a layoff = end of career. And it's not just the rookies either.
I recall reading a study that "Information Technology" jobs were highly stressful. That I completely believe. I'm glad I no longer get woken up 3 times a night for emergencies or do the "36 hours in a row at the office" where yo utake in a sleeping bag and nap on the boardroom table.
